In Stromness we can arrange a course of 5 days for about 3 - 4 hours a day and the number of days that the course will be booked over will be agreed when you make your booking. Your driving instructor will then prepare you for your Practical test, which is normally arranged for the last day of the course.

If you have not yet passed your theory we can offer free online theory support through our specialised website that holds over 2,500 mock questions and 135 hazard perception clips, to which you will have unlimited access, or if you’ve already booked your driving test. We can also offer 'Lessons only' courses for those in a hurry.

In many areas, there’s a wait for practical test dates, so a Residential course may be your best option.
You’ll have to pay separately for travel and accommodation, although we can organise this for you, and in some parts of the country crash courses can be booked in 2 weeks.

Once you’ve chosen a course, you must pay a deposit then we’ll confirm the exact details and reserve the instructor, and confirm everything in writing to you.
This might give you an idea of what’s available:

• No Experience = 40+ hours 1-2 weeks
• Novice = 30+ hours 1-2 weeks
• Intermediate = 25+ hours 1-2 weeks
• Experienced = 15+ hours 3-5 days
• Test ready = 10 hours 5-5 days

You’ll be asked to pay a deposit by telephone to our office in order to secure your booking, and this can be done weekdays or Saturdays using a credit or debit card.
