Intensive “crash” driving courses in Dunedin

Intensive or Crash courses are available now in Dunedin with fastPass Intensive Driving
A practical test will be included, (together with the Theory test, if needed), and lessons can be taken in Manual or Automatic dual controlled cars.

The intensive courses we arrange in Dunedin can be 3 to 8 hours every day, over 3 to 15 days.
The practical test is usually taken on the last day of the course, (although this doesn’t necessarily need to be the case, if you prefer to separate the tuition from the test), with each lesson taken by a driving instructor local to your area.

Even if you still need to pass the theory test, our intensive driving school makes free online theory help with over 2,500 mock questions and 135 hazard perception clips available to you, to help you pass. If you’ve got a practical test date of your own, we can simply organise the lessons if that’s what you want.

If you are raring to go with your theory test already passed but your local test centres waiting time is holding you back, one of our fastPass fastTest Residential courses, may be the way to go.
We have a few selected areas where we can arrange a course for within a fortnight, your travel and accommodation will be extra but we will arrange any details on your behalf.
(All course prices quoted will not include your accommodation or travel, these will be added once the course is arranged)

To help you decide the appropriate course for your needs we have created the Intensive Course Calculator.
The Calculator will tell you the dates and exact prices for the Dunedin area, so you can choose the course that’s right for you.
Your course details will only be confirmed once you have booked up and paid for the course, depending on the course chosen your personal dates, times and duration will be arranged through the office.
This might help you estimate what you need:

  • If you’re a Total beginner, we’d suggest 40+ hours over 1 or 2 weeks
  • If you’re a Novice, we’d suggest 30 to 40 hours over 1 or 2 weeks
  • If you’d class yourself as “Intermediate”, 25 to 30 hours should suit
  • As an Experienced learner you might need 15 to 20 hours
  • If you Recently failed a test, 10 hours might be enough.

You can either book a course which has been recommended by our course calculator through our website, or directly over the phone during our working hours.
