In Billingsgate we can arrange a course of 5 days for about 3 - 4 hours a day and the number of days that the course will be booked over will be agreed when you make your booking. Your driving instructor will then prepare you for your Practical test, which is normally arranged for the last day of the course.

To help you pass your theory test, free online theory tests are available, giving 2,500 questions and 135 video clips to get you ready. Driving lessons without a test attached can also be booked if you have a practical test of your own already arranged.

If you’ve passed your theory test but know there’s a long waiting list at your local driving test centre and you need to pass your practical test quickly, a fastPass QuickTest Residential course, may be your answer.
In some areas we are able to arrange courses in less than a fortnight, and although your travel and accommodation will be extra, we can make whatever extra arrangements may be necessary on your behalf.

Specific start dates will depend on the course, but we’ll agree the exact details and reserve the course after you’ve paid your deposit.
To give you an idea:

• Beginner 40 hours is to be spread over 1-2 weeks
• Novice 30 hours is to be spread over 1-2 weeks
• Intermediate 25 hours duration is to be spread over 1-2 weeks
• Experienced driver 15-20 hours of lessons is spread over 3-5 days
• Recent test failures can spread 10 hours over 2-3 days
