In Calstock we can arrange a course of 5 days for about 3 - 4 hours a day and the number of days that the course will be booked over will be agreed when you make your booking. Your driving instructor will then prepare you for your Practical test, which is normally arranged for the last day of the course.

Even if you haven’t yet passed your theory test, this can be organised as part of your course, and we offer free online theory tests with thousands of questions and hundreds of video clips to help you pass. If you’ve booked your own test, fastPass, can arrange local lessons up to that test date for you.

If you need to take a practical test quickly and have already passed your theory test, a residential course could be your best answer. There are some areas in the UK where tests are available almost on demand, but you will have to pay extra for bed and breakfast and to get to that area to take the course, but we’ll do the extra work necessary to make those arrangements if that’s what you want to do.

Once you’ve chosen a course, you must pay a deposit then we’ll confirm the exact details and reserve the instructor, and confirm everything in writing to you.

• Complete beginner? 7-14 day = 40 hours
• Fresh starter? 7-14 days = 30 – 40 hours
• Halfway there? 7 – 14 days = 25 – 30 hours
• Almost ready? 3 – 5 days = 15 –20 hours
• Just failed? 2 – 3 days = 10 hours

Once we’ve recommended a course for you, you can pay the deposit by phoning us between 8 and 8 weekdays, or between 9 and 5 on Saturdays.
