In Caithness we can arrange a course of 5 days for about 3 - 4 hours a day and the number of days that the course will be booked over will be agreed when you make your booking. Your driving instructor will then prepare you for your Practical test, which is normally arranged for the last day of the course.

Even if you haven’t yet passed your theory test, this can be organised as part of your course, and we offer free online theory tests with thousands of questions and hundreds of video clips to help you pass. If you’ve booked your own test, fastPass, can arrange local lessons up to that test date for you.

If you’ve passed your theory test but know there’s a long waiting list at your local driving test centre and you need to pass your practical test quickly, a fastPass QuickTest Residential course, may be your answer.
In some areas we are able to arrange courses in less than a fortnight, and although your travel and accommodation will be extra, we can make whatever extra arrangements may be necessary on your behalf.

• Complete beginner? 7-14 day = 40 hours
• Fresh starter? 7-14 days = 30 – 40 hours
• Halfway there? 7 – 14 days = 25 – 30 hours
• Almost ready? 3 – 5 days = 15 –20 hours
• Just failed? 2 – 3 days = 10 hours
