Intensive “crash” driving courses in Banchory

fastPass can offer crash courses throughout the Banchory and surrounding areas
The cost of a practical test is included, as well as the theory test if needed, and we offer courses in manual cars as well as automatic (subject to availability)

If you want to learn to drive in just one or two weeks, our Banchory intensive courses can offer between 3 and 8 hours of concentrated driving lessons, every day, over an agreed number of days.
This generally leads to a driving test at the end of the week, and all tuition is conducted by fully qualified local driving instructors.

We offer free online theory training, (if you haven't already passed it), which has over 2,500 mock questions and 135 hazard perception video clips to help you prepare for the theory test. We can even provide a quick “lessons-only” course if you have already booked your own practical driving test.

Our fastPass residential course may suit you best if you have already passed your theory test and need to take your driving test quickly even if there is a long waiting period at you local test centre!
If you are willing to travel we are able to book tests within 14 days in some parts of the country and we’ll make the necessary arrangements for you, although any additional cost for travel and accommodation will need to be met by you.
(All extra charges for travel or accommodation will need to be added to any course charge provided on this site)

We understand that choosing the right course can be difficult, which is why fastPass has developed its Intensive Course Calculator.
This will tell you the exact price and availability in Banchory for the best course for you.
The actual start date, times and duration of the lessons will be determined by the course you pick, and will be confirmed with you by our staff once you have paid your deposit. As a guide:

  • “Total beginner” course is 40+ hours over 1 or 2 weeks
  • “Novice driver” course is 30 to 40 hours over 1 or 2 weeks

  • “Experienced learner” course is 15 to 20 hours over 3 to 5 days

Following the advice of our Course Calculator, you’ll be invited to select a course online, or you can phone us weekdays between 8 and 8, or Saturdays between 9 and 5, to book.
